What are Injectables?

Injectables are a type of cosmetic treatment that involves injecting a substance, typically a neuromodulator or dermal filler, into the skin. Neuromodulators, such as Jeuveau, Xeomin or Dysport, work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles. They’re ideal for treating crow’s feet and relieving wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and mouth. Dermal fillers, such as Sculptra, fill in wrinkles, add volume to the skin, and allow for facial sculpting. They’re excellent for enhancing fullness of the lips and shaping their corners. Our Injectables Procedure

The injectable procedure typically takes less than 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. The area will first be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize any discomfort. Our team will then carefully use a small needle to inject the product into the targeted area. Patients can expect to see results within a few days to a week, and these results typically last several months.

Healthy Injectable Aftercare

After your injectable treatment, it's important to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for the first 24 hours. You should also avoid strenuous exercise, exposure to heat or cold, and alcohol consumption for the first day after treatment. Some swelling or bruising may occur, but this should subside within a few days. Results typically last several months, and patients can choose to have follow-up treatments to maintain their results.
